I am unable to use IMAP while email mining in rapid miner. Solution Resources are not available over the internet for the same. If anyone gets any information, please do post it here.

Also it needs to be seen whether more than 50 emails stored in your mailbox can be extracted via pop3, which seems to be working fine with 20-30 emails!

Hi Soham,

Go to this link: http://www.sigmaway.us/index.php?option=com_kunena&view=topic&catid=8&id=9&Itemid=651. I have made an answer to Tapasree's question which is same as yours. Do not mind to get back if you face any problem.

Thanks

The problem has been resolved today morning. Do not click on the boxes (4 total) given below protocol option in the parameters window, select imap as your protocol and of course without any restraints into account due to firewall or antivirus. Attaching the screenshots.
server name: server.gosigmaway.com
username: your goisgmaway email id.
password: your gosigmaway password.

As of now more than 50 emails can be extracted via both pop3 and imap. Needs to know whether more than that can be retrieved..

After RapidMiner update, it is possible to extract more than 90 emails. The issue is resolved. So POP3 and IMAP both protocols are working in order to fetch emails from an email account. All you need to do is disable your firewall from blocking connection request during the time of your RapidMiner usage. Keep your Rapidminer package up-to-date.
